Welcome to Mount Augustus Tourist Park

Laying directly in the heart of the Upper Gascoyne region you will find our beautiful, often described as an "Oasis in the Outback" tourist park. With spacious, powered, grassed sites for caravans and campers alike, or non-powered  campsites. Sit back and relax, and watch the different colours and shades of the rock as the sun passes over.
With toilet and hot shower facilities, BBQ area, laundry, dump point and disabled toilets.
We also have a range of onsite accommodation ranging from twin rooms to self contained family units.

Feeling hungry and craving an ice cold beer after the drive in or after a days exploring?
Book in to the "Mt View Cookhouse", serving "Shorthorn" beef straight from the Mt Augustus Station.
Taste the mouthwatering difference, bookings required.

The Tourist Park also has a shop with essential items available. Diesel & unleaded fuel, gas refills, tyre's and minor repairs.

With so much to see and do around the area, stay and enjoy as long as you like, aboriginal artwork, trail walks, Cattle Pool, Emu Hill Lookout, Yalaweerie Hill lookout, ancient Gnamma holes, birdlife and amazing wildflowers.

Oh did we mention a rock? A really big rock?
Mt Augustus is the worlds biggest rock twice the size of Uluru, Wajarri Aboriginal name is "Burringarrah."
Standing 715mtrs out of the surrounding alluvial plain, it can be seen from miles away. With a 53km loop around the rock drive you will encounter, rocky creeks, gorges, open plains, aboriginal rock engravings and a variety of wildlife.
